Cancellation form and instructions
If you change your mind, this is the standard form the law sets out, and the instructions that go with it. You do not have to use the form — a clear message telling us you want to cancel is enough.

The cancellation instructions
The wording below is reproduced from Schedule 3 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. We have filled in our own details and the options the Regulations tell us to choose, and changed nothing else.
Read it together with the note above. It is a general form of words used by every kind of shop, so it describes the 14-day right without naming the food exceptions. Those exceptions still apply to your order.
Right to cancel
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us (Ente Keralam Ltd, 136 Duke Street, St Helens, WA10 2JL, telephone 07887 141400, e-mail hello@entekeralam.uk) of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail). You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than—
(a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
(b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
(c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us at 136 Duke Street, St Helens, WA10 2JL, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
To repeat the one thing those instructions cannot say for us: you will not have a right to change your mind about fresh, chilled or frozen food, and you will lose the right to change your mind about a sealed packet of dry food once you open it.
The model cancellation form
You do not have to use this form, and you do not have to use any particular form of words. It is here because the Regulations require us to give it to you.
Model cancellation form
To Ente Keralam Ltd, 136 Duke Street, St Helens, WA10 2JL, hello@entekeralam.uk:
I/We [*] hereby give notice that I/We [*] cancel my/our [*] contract of sale of the following goods [*]/for the supply of the following service [*],
Ordered on [*]/received on [*],
Name of consumer(s),
Address of consumer(s),
Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper),
Date
[*] Delete as appropriate.
How to send it to us
Any of these is fine — please quote your order number:
- email hello@entekeralam.uk
- telephone 07887 141400
- write to 136 Duke Street, St Helens, WA10 2JL
You do not need to complete the form to cancel. A clear statement — an email saying you want to cancel your order — does exactly the same job. What matters is that it reaches us before the 14 days are up; it is enough that you send it in time.
Sending the items back
If you cancel after your order has arrived, send the items back to us at 136 Duke Street, St Helens, WA10 2JL within 14 days of telling us. You pay the cost of returning them. We are required to tell you that in advance, and we are telling you here and on the cancellations and refunds page.
Until that is settled, please get in touch before you send anything back and we will agree the arrangement with you. We will not charge you anything you have not agreed to.
How your refund is worked out — including what happens to the handling fee when you cancel only part of an order — is set out on the cancellations and refunds page.
